Balsamic Jelly Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups White Balsamic/ Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 cups Sugar (Adjust or reduce for Dark Balsamic, or cut out all together)
  • 1 envelop of Pectin (3 ounce packet)

Instructions

  1. Measure 4 1/2 cups of Balsamic into a large pan.
  2. Stir in Sugar.
  3. Bring mixture to rolling boil on high heat and stir constantly.
  4. Stir in Pectin, and boil for 1 minute exact.
  5. Skim off foam.
  6. Ladle into pre boiled jars, seal and process 8 minutes.

Notes

Optional:

Try mulling spices during the boiling process. Try cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and/or cardamom for seasonal variations.

Try this recipe with Grapefruit, Cranberry Pear, Peach, or Mango White Balsamic Vinegar. Try Maple, Raspberry, Strawberry, Apple, Cherry, Fig, Pomegranate, Cinnamon Pear, Blackberry Ginger Dark Balsamic.
