Whipped Burrata Cheese with Basil, Grape Tomatoes, Olive Oil and Vinegar

Whipped Burrata Cheese with Basil & Grape Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • Whipped Burrata Cheese (We buy ours from Doug @ http://cheeseman.ca)
  • A Chiffonade of Basil
  • 8 Grape Tomatoes, Halved
  • 30 mL Piedmont Honey & Pepper Vinegar
  • 30 mL Basil Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk the burrata cheese ball using a fork
  2. Roll up approximately 5 medium sized basil leaves and cut perpendicularly and set aside
  3. Cut grape tomatoes in half and set aside
  4. Mix together the oil and vinegar and whisk to emulsify
  5. Plate the burrata and pour the vinaigrette over the cheese and lightly mix
  6. Spread the tomatoes and cut basil over top
  7. Finish with salt & pepper to taste
  8. Serve with fresh bread or crackers
